About UsSupply-Chain Services, Inc. (SSI) was established in 1997 as System Service International and quickly became a leader in the electronics recycling industry. In late 2002 SSI changed its name to Supply-Chain Services, Inc. to reflect their expanding service offerings in Reverse Supply Chain, Logistics Management and Retired IT Asset Recovery that came about at the request of several key corporate customers, such as Motorola. In the beginning, SSI took on special projects, such as “processing packaging material to be returned to over 100 vendors” and “communication console trade-in programs.” During this process SSI developed a solid Reverse Logistics infrastructure, including advanced information system to meet SSI’s customers’ ever-changing needs, customized operation procedures, warehouse reconfiguration, staff skill enhancement and strategic partners.
As other customers became aware of our skills and attention to details, SSI was asked to perform other specialized or customized logistic services to meet its customers variable Electronic Recycling and IT Asset Recovery Management needs. Today, SSI offers a full range of services to our customers who can pick and choose these services as the need arises with the demands of a transitional market. From the first day of its inception, SSI’s founder, Jade Lee, set a clear mission for the company: to provide a Single Source Solution for Electronics Recycling and IT Asset Recovery Disposition and Management. The clear vision has laid a foundation and infrastructure for the growth of the company. The breadth of SSI services, the depth of our analytical reports, the sophisticated information systems and best management practices have captivated many corporate customers. SSI’s impressive customer list (see partial customer list) grew quickly. Our focus on customer service, attention to detail, high-level report systems and keen ability to address customers’ strategic objectives have made us the ideal value partner for managing the complex Electronics and IT Assets End-of-Life process. SSI’s customers include many global corporations that represent a wide range of industries including, OEM, information technology, consumer electronics, industrial electronics, automotive, telecommunications, retail chains, office automation, financial services, pharmaceutical, and governmental/educational institutions.
